Superb accident, killed in Moto2 rider MotoGP Catalunya




The sad news came from the Catalunya MotoGP. Moto2 Spaniard Luis Salom died instantly after experiencing severe accident when following the second free practice session which took place at the Circuit de Catalunya, Montmelo Barcelona, Friday (06/03/2016).

SAG Racing Team rider could not control the bike when bulldoze the corner of the 12th. This makes the free practice session for the Moto2 stalled.

"Two medical mobl and two ambulances immediately came to the scene to treat the 24-year-old. The helicopter was also lowered to help the handling of victims," the statement on the official MotoGP website.

"As his condition worsened, he was taken to hospital in Catalonia. Upon arrival, he was immediately operated on. But despite trying, he breathed his last at 16:55 pm local time."

It becomes a sad tragedy MotoGP who previously had lost a talented rider, Marco Simoncelli at Sepang circuit.
