Taiwan angry, 32 citizens were deported to China from Malaysia


Chinese authorities say the suspects will stand trial in a fraud case telekomuniasi China.
"All 32 suspects confessed to the fraud and held in accordance with applicable laws," a police official said China, as reported by the official Xinhua news agency on Monday (16/05).

Malaysia deported all 32 citizens of Taiwan to China in April after a group of other residents of Taiwan, who is also accused of fraud telecommunications targeting Chinese nationals, were deported to China from Kenya.
Related incidents in Kenya, the Taiwan government has accused Kenya using guns and tear gas to force 37 Taiwan residents get on the plane to China.



Taiwan demanded they be returned to their country and not to China. Confirmed by Taiwan that the case is still under investigation.
Deportation from Malaysia and Kenya were estimated as the Chinese government's efforts to suppress Taiwan's new president, Tsai Ing-wen, who is considered reluctant to establish close ties with the Chinese government.
